leads to a greater voltage step-up, with the minimum read field at
a greater distance.
Relaxation of the required manufacturing tolerances are expected to lead
to cost savings. Further areas for savings include the property that the
resonance naturally regulates to a fixed voltage, eliminating the need
for a separate regulator for high field strengths.
If the same tag is required to respond to multiple frequencies then this
may be achieved through the design of the operating band.
